The KWS provides extensive supplementary materials to assist teacher preparation prior to the concert experience. a comprehensive Teachers Guide will be distributed to each participating class that includes information about the KWS, details about the concert, class activities, suggested listening and suggested reading.

A KWS musician or small ensemble will visit each participating school prior to their scheduled concert to connect with the students and give them a preview of what they will be seeing. The same musician or ensemble will visit the same class following the concert to answer questions.
