KWS Volunteer Committee

We Love Our Volunteers!

Since 1948 the KWS Volunteer Committee has supported the Symphony in many ways. Our goal is to promote the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony using the capabilities of volunteers who offer skills, energy, time and resources in the areas of fundraising, personal service and educational advocacy. To this end we are currently involved in a number of activities, including:

• Love of Music Marathon
• Tours with a musical theme to various destinations.
  • Take a trip to Chicago with Maestro Brian Jackson.
• Spring and Fall Card Parties.
• House & Garden Tour of Note.
• Showcase Boutique at Centre in the Square.
• Raising and administering scholarship funds for young musicians.
• Catering KWS rehearsals.
• Assisting KWS staff as needed
  

Earlier activities have come and gone. Ideas for new fund-raising projects are always welcome from our members and friends.
