Space... the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. Its on-going mission: to explore new sounds; to seek out new audiences; to boldly go where few orchestras have gone before.
Join veteran Star Trek actors – John de Lancie (Q in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager) and Robert Picardo (The Doctor on Star Trek: Voyager) for some of the most notable music from Star Trek.
Selections will include the theme from the original series, the theme from Voyager, the Klingon battle theme, selections of James Horner’s scores from The Wrath of Khan and more – highlights from the abundance of music accompanying five series and eleven feature films.
These concerts are presented in collaboration with The Children’s Museum in downtown Kitchener, as part of their upcoming space exhibition. Cosmomania will explore the history of space travel with local innovations and a unique opportunity to see deep into space.
The concert will be followed by an exclusive ticketed After Party including a meet-and-greet session with de Lancie and Picardo. After Party tickets are $50.
Trekkies / Trekkers in costume are welcome. Live long and prosper!
