Shostakovich's incredible Piano and Trumpet Concerto will showcase KWS principal trumpet Larry Larson and pianist Peter Longworth. This is a program of Russian genius from Tchaikovsky's affectionate Mozartiana suite to a beautiful Rachmaninoff Vocalise and Stravinsky's seminal Symphony in C.

The Music of John Williams

One of the most famous composers of this century, John Williams' scores ahve revolutionized the film industry. This concert features some of his most notable themes: E.T., Superman, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. The concert also includes the music we know and love from all six Star Wars films.

Travel back in time and experience a concert just like those Mozart would have attended. The first two and last two movements of Mozart's famous Linz symphony bracket the evening, which features the choruses from The Magic Flute, the luminous Ave Verum Corpus, one of Mozart's greatest opera overtures, and a concerto for flute and harp.
